A Study on Motivation Process Based on Inferiority Complex

This study examined an existence of this specific motivation based on the inferiority complex through the verifying of a hypothesis; the people having both of high achievement motivation and high inferiority complex were existent. For our purpose, we carried out the questionnaire investigation toward Japanese university students in 2008. The valid data of this study was 329 (males=232, females=97). The average age of this sample was 19.9 (SD=1.41). The questionnaire was composed of the achievement motivation scale (horino, 1987) and inferiority complex scale (toyoda，2002).
