Current RTK-GPS protocols like RTCM SC-104 v.2.3,rn3.0(Draft 15) and Trimble CMR require at leastrn2400bps-bandwidth of RTK-GPS data-link. Unlike thernRTK-GPS correction messages of the RTCM SC-104rnv.2.3, those of the RTCM SC-104 version 3.0(Draft 15)rnand the Trimble CMR have optimized structures. Butrnthey neither consider the effect of latency onrncorrections, nor make full use of the S/A(SelectivernAvailability) termination. In this paper, we proposernnew RTK-GPS correction messages compatible withrnthe RTCM SC-104 version 3.0(Draft 15) and describernthe efficient transmission technique of the proposedrnRTK-GPS correction messages. By taking fullrnadvantage of the compactness of the RTCM SC-104 v.rn3.0(Draft 15) and lowering update rate of the RTKrn-GPS corrections, we can lower the required baud raternof RTK-GPS data-link up to 600 bps or less.rnTransmission periods of corrections can be muchrnlengthened by S/A termination.rnIn order to verify the above strategy, we performedrnRTK-GPS experiments with simulated low-rate RTKrndata-link(less than 600bps). We used the SNUR-2000 v.rn2.2 as RTK-GPS protocol. Then, we evaluated thernperformance of the SNUR-2000 v. 2.2 and the efficientrntransmission technique of the RTK-GPS corrections.
