Modeling of Traffic Flows of Suburban Agglomerations: Technical and Social Aspects, Applications

摘要

The paper deals with modeling and management of traffic flow of city's agglomeration, namely part of Dl motorway Trnava-Bratislava (Slovak Republic). It deals with both technical and social aspects, in according to the White Paper "European transport policy for 2010: time to decide". Design of information and communication system for support of transport control on given part of Dl motorway is shown also in the paper. Using this system dispatcher will have in his hands actual and historical data; based on those it can be made decision quickly. The traffics can be consequently controlled/regulated by portable traffic signs or by diverting or other roads.
