Harper Lee’s To Kill A Mockingbird has always been considered as one of the classic literary works in America. Once published, this novel won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction and its author Harper Lee became one of the most popular writers. Related researches and articles by foreign and domestic scholars had been published.This paper is based on the previous studies, and discusses about the personality of Atticus Finch. The whole passage is divided into three chapters. Chapter one gives a brief introduction of Harper Lee and the background information of this novel, as well as the work’s synopsis. Chapter two analyzes the main character Atticus Finch’s personality, and presents his different characters when facing different people and in different situations. Chapter three explores Atticus Finch’s impact on people in To Kill A Mockingbird and its readers. In conclusion, by analyzing the personality of the main characters, we could have a more comprehensive view of the development of the story and a better understanding of the novel.

In this paper, we will use the successive approximation method for solving Fredholm integral equation of the second kind using Maple18. By means of this method, an algorithm is successfully established for solving the non-linear Fredholm integral equation of the second kind. Finally, several examples are presented to illustrate the application of the algorithm and results appear that this method is very effective and convenient to solve these equations.

The special kind of (G’/G)-expansion method and the new mapping method are easy and significant mathematical methods. In this paper, exact travelling wave solutions of the higher order dispersive Cubic-quintic nonlinear Schrödinger equation and the generalized nonlinear Schrödinger equation are studied by using the two methods. Finally, the solitary wave solutions, singular soliton solutions, bright and dark soliton solutions and periodic solutions of the two nonlinear Schrödinger equations are obtained. The results show that this method is effective for solving exact solutions of nonlinear partial differential equations.

In order to overcome the difficulty in solving the boundary value problem of electrostatic field with complex boundary and to give a new method for solving the third boundary value problem of Laplace’s equation, in this paper, the third boundary value problem of Laplace’s equation is studied by combining conformal mapping with theoretical analysis, the several analytical solutions of third boundary value problems of Laplace’s equation are gives, the correctness of its solution is verified through computer numerical simulation, and a new idea and method for solving the third boundary value problem of Laplace’s equation is obtained. In this paper, the boundary condition of the solving domain is changed by the appropriate conformal mapping, so that the boundary value problem on the transformed domain is easy to be solved or be known, and then the third kind boundary value of the Laplace’s equation can be solved easily;its electric potential distribution is known. Furthermore, the electric field line and equipotential line are plotted by using the MATLAB software.

It can be widely used in aerospace and other fields for it can work at the lowest temperature of minus 225 degrees Celsius. This kind of permanent magnet material is widely used in motors.

With effective controllability on the asymptoticfrequency, mimicking surface plasmon polaritons(MSPPs) device can perfectly confine electromag-netic (EM) field in subwavelength scale with highintensity from microwave to optical frequencies [14]. So, it can meet the pursuit for future ter-ahertz miniaturized components and highly inte-grated circuits, which has potential application insubwavelength optics, data storage, light genera-tion, microscopy and bio-photonics [5].

本发明涉及光纤耦合技术领域,尤其涉及一种高效率的叠阵型半导体激光器,包括激光源、光束整形组件、会聚透镜、鲍威尔棱镜组件和光纤;所述激光源发出的光束经过光束整形组件进行整形;整形后的光束经会聚透镜会聚,会聚后光束经过鲍威尔棱镜组件进行光束整形可以耦合进光纤的光束。本发明系统结构简单,便于操作,减少了操作步骤,光纤耦合效率达到84.3%。
