摘要:
Dear editor,This letter presents an automatic data augmentation algorithm for medical image segmentation.To increase the scale and diversity of medical images,we propose a differentiable automatic data augmentation algorithm based on proximal update by finding an optimal augmentation policy.Specifically,on the one hand,a dedicated search space is designed for the medical image segmentation task.On the other hand,we introduce a proximal differentiable gradient descent strategy to update the data augmentation policy,which would increase the searching efficiency.Results of the experiments indicate that the proposed algorithm significantly outperforms state-of-the-art methods,and search speed is 10 times faster than state-of-the-art methods.

摘要:
This paper explores a way of deploying the classical algorithm named genetic algorithm(GA) with the memristor. The memristor is a type of circuit device with both characteristics of storage and computing, which provides the similarity between electronic devices and biological components, such as neurons, and the structure of the memristor-based array is similar to that of chromosomes in genetics. Besides, it provides the similarity to the image gray-value matrix that can be applied to image restoration with GA. Thus, memristor-based GA is proposed and the experiment about image restoration using memristor-based GA is carried out in this paper. And parameters,such as the size of initial population and the number of iterations, are also set different values in the experiment,which demonstrates the feasibility of implementing GA with memristors.

摘要:
Luminosity and contrast variation problems are among the most challenging tasks in the image processing field,significantly improving image quality.Enhancement is implemented by adjusting the dark or bright intensity to improve the quality of the images and increase the segmentation performance.Recently,numerous methods had been proposed to normalise the luminosity and contrast variation.A new approach based on a direct technique using statistical data known as Hybrid Statistical Enhancement(HSE)is presented in this study.TheHSE method uses themean and standard deviation of a local and global neighbourhood and classified the pixel into three groups;the foreground,border,and problematic region(contrast&luminosity).The datasets,namely weld defect images,were utilised to demonstrate the effectiveness of the HSE method.The results from the visual and objective aspects showed that the HSE method could normalise the luminosity and enhance the contrast variation problem effectively.The proposed method was compared to the two(2)populor enhancement methods which is Homomorphic Filter(HF)and Difference of Gaussian(DoG).To prove the HSE effectiveness,a few image quality assessments were presented,and the results were discussed.The HSE method achieved a better result compared to the other methods,which are Signal Noise Ratio(8.920),Standard Deviation(18.588)and Absolute Mean Brightness Error(9.356).In conclusion,implementing the HSE method has produced an effective and efficient result for background correction and quality images improvement.

Robot-assisted partial nephrectomy(RAPN)is certainly one of the most fascinating and complex urological procedures.This is ascribable to its vast heterogeneity from one case to another,related to patient’s anatomical variability and tumour’s characteristics.Over the last years,with the aim to assist the surgeons in handling ever more difficult lesions(totally endophytic or large volume[1,2])suitable for RAPN,several technologies were proposed and tested,from preoperative planning to intraoperative assistance or navigation[3].

Dear Editor,3×3 Infrared imaging,generally,of low quality,plays an important role in security surveillance and target detection.In this letter,we improve the quality of infrared images by combining both hardware and software.To this end,an infrared light field imaging enhancement system is built for the first time,including a infrared light field imaging device,a large-scale infrared light field dataset(IRLF-WHU),and a progressive fusion network for infrared image enhancement(IR-PFNet).

本发明公开了一种基于Image Caption的图片存储优化方法,包括以下:构建一种新颖的方式来进行图片类型的判断,设计了一个Image Caption模型将图片中的版式信息提取成对应的html样式信息,通过Image Caption模型将图片中的版式信息提取成对应的HTML(hypertext markup language,超文本标记语言)样式信息。传统的图片保存技术在保存固定样式的图片时(例如身份证、固定模板的文本、小票等),用户上传的每张图都将作为独立、完整的一张图进行存储,因此随着图片数量的增加,在存储容量上开销也会越来越大,本专利针对这一场景,提出了基于Image Caption的图像存储优化方法,通过去重图片共性部分只保留图片特性的方式,从而可以有效减少图片在存储容量上的开销。

本发明公开了一种基于X‑ray imaging与Sobel‑SCN的GIS缺陷检测方法,包括:S1、获取GIS设备X射线图像(X‑ray imaging);S2、对所述图像进行旋转、去噪、增强、二值化预处理;S4、基于Sobel算法提取图像边缘信息;S5、基于数学形态学完善图像边缘轮廓信息;S6、分割图像、标定分割图像重心;S7、构造特征矢量集;S8、采用随机配置网络(Stochastic Configuration Networks,SCN),将归一化后的特征矢量集作为输入,对所述特征矢量集进行分类,实现GIS缺陷识别。本发明将X射线图像处理技术与SCN算法应用与GIS缺陷检测中,替代巡检人员判别GIS是否存在缺陷,可以提高GIS缺陷检测的质量与效率。
