1.Introduction There is a significant gap between atmospheric space and undersea space for wireless radio transmission.The interface between air and seawater is a barrier to prevent radio wave transmission across the boundary.This is because seawater is an electrically conducting medium,and radio waves suffer significant absorptive attenuation there.As a result,there is no internet,reliable mobile communication,high-quality video,and long-distance duplex wireless communication in the underwater world of oceans.It is pitiful since the oceans share 71%of the surface of our planet and are of great importance to our economy,ecology,and living environment.

摘要:
The growth in wireless technologies applications makes the necessity of providing a reliable communication over wireless networks become obvious.Guaranteeing real time communication in wireless medium poses a significant challenge due to its poor delivery reliability.In this study,a recovery and redundancy model based on sequential time division multiple access(S-TDMA)for wireless communication is developed.The media access control(MAC)layer of the S-TDMA determines which station should transmit at a given time slot based on channel state of the station.Simulations of the system models were carried out using MATLAB SIMULINK software.SIMULINK blocks from the signal processing and communication block sets were used to model the communication system.The S-TDMA performance is evaluated with total link reliability,system throughput,average probability of correct delivery before deadline and system latency.The evaluation results displayed in graphs when compared with instant retry and drop of frame were found to be reliable in recovering loss packets.

摘要:
Dear Editor,This letter is concerned with the distributed localization issue for wireless sensor networks subject to deception attacks.It is assumed that malicious nodes randomly launch attacks to tamper the ranging information between sensors.In order to accommodate the effects of deception attacks,a trust assessment-based distributed localization algorithm is proposed.Combined with data fusion of barycentric coordinates,our algorithm can achieve accurate localization.Finally,numerical simulations are given to validate the effectiveness of the proposed localization algorithm.
