    • 摘要: One of today’s actual problems in the field of antennas is the possibility of developing a small wideband antenna,which can work without grounding.Absence of these antennas can lead to serious problems for example in case of designing small transceivers for cellular systems.In this article we show a proposed version of these antennas.Today there do not exist theoretical investigations of connections between electromagnetic fields and currents in flat metallic plates.Therefore,the basis of this work is optimization of proposed antenna construction by simulations.

    • 摘要: Full-azimuth common reflection-angle gathers could be stacked at any azimuth. The stacked data at the azimuth perpendicular to fractures exhibit the largest azimuthal anisotropy, while the stacked data at the azimuth parallel to fractures exhibit the smallest azimuthal anisotropy. In petroleum exploration in Block A, a neritic province in the Bohai Bay, we use the stacked data at the azimuth perpendicular to fractures to improve fault interpretation. We also use attribute fusion to identify fractures in different directions.

    • 摘要: Beta-phase gallium oxide(β-Ga_2O_3) Schottky barrier diodes were fabricated on highly doped single-crystal substrates,where their temperature-dependent electrical properties were comprehensively investigated by forward and reverse current density – voltage and capacitance – voltage characterization. Both the Schottky barrier height and the ideality factor showed a temperature-dependence behavior, revealing the inhomogeneous nature of the Schottky barrier interface caused by the interfacial defects. With a voltage-dependent Schottky barrier incorporated into thermionic emission theory, the inhomogeneous barrier model can be further examined. Furthermore, the reverse leakage current was found to be dominated by the bulk leakage currents due to the good material and surface quality. Leakage current per distance was also obtained. These results can serve as important references for designing efficient β-Ga_2O_3 electronic and optoelectronic devices on highly doped substrates or epitaxial layers.

    • 摘要: There is a long and wide continuous trough of deep mixed layers connecting the tropical western North Pacific Ocean with the offshore waters of the coast of California. Relatively warm water that is nearly uniform vertically fills the trough, which is concluded here to be a northeastward flow joining the wide warm surface current at mid-latitudes off California documented earlier. Evi-dence for the trough comes from a North Pacific atlas based on very many indi-vidual mixed layer depth data points, taken over a 27-year period, compiled (av-eraged) in monthly mean charts with contours of constant mixed layer depth dis-played. BTs (bathythermographs) were used to record temperature versus depth continuously from which the mixed layer depths were determined. Centerline curves, connecting the deepest mixed layer depths, which approximate the mid-dle of the troughs, are constructed from the atlas and are presented for all twelve months. In going from west to east, these curves bend counterclockwise, gradu-ally most of the way then more markedly near California. The curves for the summer months come closer to California than any of the other ones do, suggest-ing that the warm current itself is nearest to California in summer. Confirmation of the prediction awaits future efforts.

    • 摘要: A multiuser Ultra Wide Band (UWB) channel suffers seriously from realistic impairments. Among this, multipath fading and interferences, such as Multiple Access Interference (MAI) and Inter Symbol Interference (ISI), that significantly degrade the system performance. In this paper, a polar coding technique, originally developed by Arikan, is suggested to enhance the BER performance of indoor UWB based Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) communications. Moreover, Interleave Division Multiple Access (IDMA) scheme has been considered for multiuser detection depending on the turbo type Chip-By-Chip (CBC) iterative detection strategy. Three different models as Symmetric Alpha Stable (SαS), Laplace model and Gaussian Mixture Model (GMM), have been introduced for approximating the interferences which are more realistic for UWB system. The performance of the proposed Polar-coded IDMA OFDM-based UWB system is investigated under UWB channel models proposed by IEEE 802.15.3a working group and compared with Low Density Parity Check (LDPC)-coded IDMA OFDM-based UWB system in terms of BER performance and complexity under the studied noise models. Simulation results show that the complexity of the proposed polar-coded system is much lower than LDPC-coded system with minor performance degradation. Furthermore, the proposed polar-coded system is robust against noise and interferences in UWB indoor environment and gains a significant performance improvement by about 5 dB compared with un-coded IDMA-OFDM-UWB system under the studied noise models.
