摘要： As one of the three main elements of language English,vocabulary is the basis of English learning and plays an important role in English learning.How to improve students’vocabulary learning efficiency and help students apply vocabulary flexibly has gradually become a research focus in English teaching.This paper focuses on the current situation of students’vocabulary learning and attempts to put forward more scientific,reasonable and effective vocabulary teaching suggestions.

摘要： Vocabulary teaching is always a difficulty to English teachers while learners have found the task of accumulating vocabulary time-consuming,boring,and ineffective.This paper intends to explain vocabulary teaching and learning based on the wholeness principle of Gestalt Theory,which emphasizes the wholeness of experience and behaviors.It points out that without an organic whole,the learning process will be incomplete and ineffective.The process of learning is not the accumulation of piecemeal examination of the isolated elements.It is anticipated that the efficiency of classroom teaching and learning can be improved.

摘要： cqvip:Non-English major students often feel frustrated in learning English vocabulary by rote memorization. Meanwhile, as thebasis of understanding and expressing language, vocabulary is vital to the smooth development of college English teaching reformsand the comprehensive improvement of students' English level. Therefore, it's necessary for college English teachers to researchthe rules of vocabulary teaching and give indispensable guidance to students.

摘要： Men and women are different from each other in many aspects,including in language.In order to analyze the differences of male and female people’s language in vocabulary and styles,two corpora have been built:one is the female main characters’lines of some episodes of Friends;and the other is the male main characters’.Taking Brown corpus as the reference corpus,a list of keywords for the two corpora,as well as frequencies of words,have been worked out respectively,by applying AntConc.Concor?dances and contexts also have been analyzed.The findings show that women use more interjection and hedges than men.What’s more,women tend to be more cooperative than men in conversations.Additionally,women’s words are less decisive when com?pared to men’s.The results of this paper could give some suggestions in cross gender conversation so as to gain more effective com?munication.

摘要： Medical vocabulary consists of so many words and terms.Medical students are often terrified by large vocabulary.The paper aimed to analyze the problems lie in acquisition of medical vocabulary，review literature of learning strategies of medical vocabulary，and offers a few simple rules for students to follow to facilitate their acquisition of medical vocabulary.
