A homework assignment and correction method and system, and a server. The system comprises: a teacher terminal (101), generating a homework file using a teacher account, selecting a student set which needs to receive homework, and uploading the homework file and said student set to a cloud server (102); the cloud server (102), performing code laying on the homework file to generate a code laying homework file, sending the code laying homework file to a printing terminal (103) bound to each student account in said student set for printing, respectively identifying and correcting answering content of each student account, and correspondingly storing the correction result and the student account; the printing terminal (103), obtaining the code laying homework file for printing, and printing paper code laying homework; and a smart pen (104), collecting the answering content of each student on the paper code laying homework, and correspondingly uploading the answering content and the student accounts to the cloud server (102). By means of the solution, the efficiency of homework assignment, submission and correction is improved, and the learning effect of students is improved.
