The nicotine-free e-smoking section comprises a housing (12); a wick (64) in a chamber (72) defined within the housing; a heater 60 positioned at a distance capable of heating the wick; and a reservoir (62) configured to contain a pre-nicotine vapor-free formulation (21), said pre-nicotine vapor-free formulation being nicotine-free and comprising at least one nicotine-free component. The nicotine-free electrosmoking section defines at least one first channel 66 , wherein the at least one first channel is configured to deliver the nicotine-free pre-vapor formulation from the reservoir to the wick. The nicotine-free electrosmoking section further defines at least one first air passage 68 , wherein the at least one first air passage is configured to allow air to enter the reservoir. The nicotine-free electronic smoking device includes a nicotine-free electronic smoking section.
