The invention relates to a method for balancing energy flows from their generation in energy generators to consumption in vehicles (1), wherein the method comprises the steps:(a) recording energy supply stamps (EBS) from each of the energy producers, each containing a specific energy production identification (EIN) of one of the energy producers and indicating the quantity and/or quality of energy provided to the vehicles by that energy producer;(b) recording energy consumption stamps (EVS) for each of the vehicles (1), each containing a specific vehicle identifier (VIN) of one of the vehicles (1) and indicating the amount of energy consumed by that vehicle (1);(c) calculating balance sum stamps (BS) from recorded energy supply stamps (EBS) and recorded energy consumption stamps (EVS) for each vehicle (1),(d) secure the recorded energy supply stamps (EBS) and recorded energy consumption stamps (EVS) using cryptographic database technology (13); and(e) Sum up the balance sheet total stamps (BS) calculated for each vehicle to a total value of balance sheet transactions (SBT) for each of the vehicles (1).
