The present invention relates to a biomarker for determining the immune status of a never-smoking non-small cell lung cancer patient, and a method for providing information about the immune status of a never-smoking non-small cell lung cancer patient by using same, and more specifically, to a method for providing information about the immune status of a never-smoking non-small cell lung cancer patient by measuring a PTPN7 marker, which is for determining the status of immunity to never-smoking non-small cell lung cancer, and the expression level of PTPN7. In the present invention, it was confirmed, as a result of analyzing and clustering the genes of never-smoking non-small cell lung cancer patients, that the genes could be classified into the four clusters of hot, intermediate-ECM-H, intermediate-ECM-L, and cold phases according to the immune status in a tumor, and it was confirmed, as a result of analyzing the genes for each phase, that PTPN7 is a biomarker for determining the immune environment of never-smoking non-small cell lung cancer. Therefore, the PTPN7 marker according to the present invention can be utilized for determining the immune status of a never-smoking non-small cell lung cancer patient, and can also be used to provide information about a treatment according to the immune status.
