Disclosed are a method for detecting a GPS spoof attack using a difference in output values of a GPS receiver caused by inaccuracy of a GPS spoofing signal generating apparatus, and an apparatus therefor. A GPS deception attack detection method according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: receiving a GPS signal; and determining the received GPS signal as a GPS satellite signal or a GPS spoof signal using a learning model learned based on the difference in the output values of the GPS receiver, including the position, speed and time output from the GPS receiver Collecting the scattering degree data by labeling the GPS satellite signal and the GPS deceptive signal; and learning the learning model by using the collected data.
