INTELLIGENT COAL CAVING METHOD USING HYDRAULIC SUPPORTS ON FULLY MECHANIZED WORKING FACE

An intelligent coal caving method using hydraulic supports on a fully mechanized working face. In the method, a signal acquisition module is composed of a plurality of pressure sensors mounted in column oil cylinders of hydraulic supports and network high-definition cameras mounted at tail beams of the hydraulic supports; the pressure sensors are used for acquiring in real time column pressures of the hydraulic supports; the network high-definition cameras are used for photographing in real time a coal falling condition on a scraper conveyor after coal caving using the hydraulic supports; the signal acquisition module transmits acquired column pressure signals and coal caving image signals to a main control computer in real time; the main control computer communicates with coal caving modules, and can select an appropriate coal caving module according to the acquired column pressures; then the selected coal caving module sends a coal caving sequence command to a hydraulic support controller, so as to control the hydraulic supports to implement corresponding actions. According to the coal caving method, automation of a coal caving process can be realized, the number of workers at the working face can be decreased, the problems of over caving and under caving present in the coal caving process can be avoided, and the coal caving efficiency and the coal quality can be improved.
