To provide an improved method for visualizing plural embedded structures in respective states.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for visualizing a medical image data set, in which the visualization data set displays a three-dimensional structure having at least a first object and a second object, the method comprises: a step for allocating a first set of parameters to the first object; a step for allocating a second set of parameters to the second object; a step for dividing the medical image data set to a first sub area and second sub area; and a step for providing visualization of the three-dimensional structure by a volume rendering method (VRM) (in detail, it is ray casting or photo realistic volume path tracing), in which the first set of the parameters are applied for the first sub area for visualizing the first object and the second set of parameters are applied for the second sub area for visualizing the second object.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
