Disclosed herein is a shop floor automation process involving creating a first sequence of work to build a product according to a model. The process further involves causing the one or more robotic devices to build the product by starting executing the first sequence of tasks. Also, during execution of the first task sequence, a buildability analysis is performed to determine the likelihood of completing the product by executing the first task sequence. Based on the analysis, it is determined that it is impossible to complete the product by executing the first sequence of operations, and in response, generates a second sequence of operations for completing the product according to the model. Next, cause the one or more robotic devices to continue building the product by starting to execute a second sequence of tasks.
