The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a painless injection needle that manufactures a painless injection needle having an outer diameter of 0.2 mm or less by means of a progressive stamping die process and a plating process, and to a painless injection needle manufactured by same method. The method for manufacturing the painless injection needle of the present invention comprises the steps of: (a) making a tip end into a pointed plate by primary provisional notching that cuts out the shape from the edge of a thin plate; (b) performing forging processing on the primary provisionally notched plate so as to thin the thickness of the plate and, at the same time, increasing the strength by work hardening; (c) performing secondary main notching that cuts out the shape from the area enlarged by the forging processing in step (b) to an original dimension; (d) chamfering a sharp tapered part of the sharp tip end cut by the secondary main notching in step (c), and rounding same; and (e) forming the chamfered plate into a cylindrical shape.
