The present invention relates to a UWB (Ultra Wide Band)-based aircraft landing guidance apparatus and method for enabling precise landing of an aircraft by obtaining accurate landing site location information through UWB communication, wherein the apparatus comprises: a plurality of UWB communication modules installed at different locations to respectively transmit UWB response signals to UWB signals received from the vehicle; and performing UWB communication with a plurality of UWB communication modules respectively installed in the plurality of landing sites, and estimating the distances between the plurality of UWB communication modules installed in the landing site by analyzing a received UWB response signal. While maintaining a constant distance from the communication module, it may include an aircraft landing on the corresponding landing site.
