To provide a computer system proposing a new business that can utilize a technology possessed by a prescribed company.SOLUTION: A computer system proposing a new business extracts promising candidate other companies from noncompetitive other companies on the basis that an intellectual property application made by one company with respect to an advantageous technology of the one company is associated as a prior art document of an intellectual property application made by a noncompetitive another company that does not compete with the one company, extracts a plurality of features technological coverages showing technological features possessed by the promising candidate other companies from the technological coverage of the intellectual property applications of the promising candidate other companies, selects as a superior feature technological coverage the feature technological coverage out of the technological coverage of the features by which the one company is superior to the promising candidate other companies, extracts as a candidate technological coverage a technological coverage of an advantageous technology intellectual property application including the superior feature technological coverage among the intellectual property applications made by a plurality of companies including the one company with respect to the same technology as the advantageous technology of the one company, and determines a new business field candidate on the basis of the candidate technological coverage selected from a result of associating the superior feature technological coverage with the candidate technological coverage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
