PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core-shell nanowire, a method for forming the core-shell nanowire, and an elastic composite containing the core-shell nanowire. The core-shell nanowires of the present invention include a core containing a conductive metal and a shell containing a biocompatible metal. The method for forming core-shell nanowires of the present invention includes the step of epitaxially growing a biocompatible metal on the surface of a core containing a conductive metal to form core-shell nanowires. The elastic composite of the present invention is placed on the first core-shell nanowire / polymer composite containing the first core-shell nanowire and the first polymer, and the first core-shell nanowire / polymer composite.
