CAPSULES COMPRISING VULCANISATION ACCELERANT AGENTS, THEIR PREPARATION AND USE IN THE VULCANISATION OF ELASTOMERIC COMPOUNDS FOR TYRES

The present invention relates to capsules comprising vulcanisation accelerant agents, to processes for their preparation, to their use in the vulcanisation of elastomeric compounds for tyres and to the vulcanised compounds thus obtained. The capsules of the invention are characterised by a cross-linked coating, which imparts considerable thermal and mechanical resistance to them. Surprisingly, these capsules significantly accelerate the vulcanisation reaction of the elastomeric compounds in which they are incorporated without causing scalding thereof.
