The present invention relates to a metallic nanoparticle catalyst, and more particularly, to a porous catalyst in which metallic nanoparticles are collected on a porous oxide support, and a method for preparing the porous catalyst. To this end, the porous catalyst composition of metallic nanoparticles of the present invention includes an oxide matrix structure having meso and micropores; and metal or metal oxide nanoparticles collected in the oxide matrix structure having the meso and micropores. After stabilizing by covering the metallic nanoparticles containing a stabilizer, the functionalization step of binding a polymer to the surface of the metallic nanoparticles; and synthesizing a dispersion of metallic nanoparticles collected in a porous oxide support by mixing with an oxide precursor in a solution in which functionalized metallic nanoparticles and an activator are mixed and dispersed; By comprising; calcining the metallic nanoparticle dispersion, a metallic nanoparticle catalyst having high activity even at a low temperature is implemented.
