A brightness adjustment method, a brightness adjustment device (1) and an OLED display. The adjustment method comprises: first receiving an instruction to adjust the brightness of an OLED display; then adjusting a light-emitting control signal according to the magnitude of the brightness of the OLED display to be adjusted in the instruction; since for each unit of brightness of the OLED display in the instruction, one unit of a duty cycle of one of the pulse periods in the light-emitting control signal is adjusted accordingly, the brightness value of one unit of the brightness of the OLED display is reduced compared to the existing brightness adjustment method, so as to prevent the phenomenon of an excessive brightness jump from occurring when the display adjusts a brightness bar, and improve the user experience.
