The present invention relates to the field of attribute-based encryption, and disclosed is a multi-attribute mechanism attribute-based encryption method having a search function and used for a cloud-assisted Internet of Things. The technical problem to be solved is: how to provide a lightweight decryption and searchable attribute-based encryption solution. The method comprises: generate a first secret key pair by means of system initialization, generate a second secret key pair by means of initialization of an attribute mechanism, and generate a third secret key pair by means of cloud initialization; a data owner symmetrically encrypts a plaintext and a symmetric secret key to generate a first ciphertext, perform attribute encryption on a symmetric secret key seed to generate a second ciphertext, and generate an index set according to keywords; a central mechanism generates an identity secret key and a search secret key for a data user; the data user generates an outsourcing decryption secret key, an authorization decryption secret key and a trap door, and sends the outsourcing decryption secret key, the authorization decryption secret key and the trap door to a cloud storage center for searching and semi-decrypting the second ciphertext; and the data user decrypts the semi-decrypted ciphertext to obtain a symmetric secret key seed and then generate a symmetric secret key, and symmetrically decrypts the first ciphertext to obtain plaintext data.
