The device of the PWM modulator includes a triangle wave generator for generating a triangle wave and a comparator for generating a signal output in response to a signal input. The output of the PWM modulator corresponds to the comparator signal output. A polarity reversing circuit coupled between the triangle wave generator and the comparator is configured in one of the following ways: providing the triangle wave to the comparator when the triangle wave has a first slope polarity and wherein the triangle wave is opposite to the first slope polarity a method of providing the triangular wave of the inverted polarity to the comparator when it has a second slope polarity; and providing the signal input to the comparator when the triangle wave has the first slope polarity, and providing the signal input in an inverted polarity form to the comparator when the triangle wave has the second slope polarity.
