A burn tray (10) for a burner (1) simulates flames in fire simulation systems. The burn tray (10) has a pressurized chamber (20) with a tray (21) and with a cover element (22). The tray (21) and the cover element (22) are arranged fixed to one another with the formation of at least one gap (30). At least one comb plate (40) is arranged in the at least one gap (30).
