Styling composition for temporarily shaping keratinous fibers and its use

Disclosed are styling compositions for temporarily shaping keratinous fibres, e.g. hair, the compositions comprising: at least one modified starch (preferably 1-8 %); at least one natural plant exudate or natural plant extract (preferably 0.1-7 %), preferably acacia exudate or acacia extract; at least one guar derivative (preferably 0.01-15. %), preferably a cationic guar derivative. The composition preferably comprises 0.005-1 % of at least one protein hydrolysate or derivative thereof. The composition may comprise additional components selected from surfactants, preservatives, humectants, pH adjusting agents, care agents, dyes, conditioning agents, perfume, and mixtures thereof. Also disclosed is the use of the composition for shaping keratinous fibres.
