A method for improved service creation within a telecommunications network includes the following steps: in a first step, a resource-up-message is received by a corresponding specific central access port of at least one point of delivery; in a second step, subsequent to the first step, a lookup request is transmitted to at least one central database, the lookup request comprising port identification information of a specific physical access resource and/or device identification information and/or subscriber identity module identification information and/or user identification information; and in a third step, subsequent to the second step, database response information is received by the at least one point of delivery, the database response information being related to customer identification information and/or to service attributes information of a communication service or a plurality of communication services to be configured.
