The present invention relates to a defect-suppressed metal halide perovskite luminescent material, and a wavelength conversion body and light-emitting diode comprising same. According to the present invention, medium-sized monovalent organic cations (A2) comprised inside perovskite crystals can stabilize the perovskite crystals and inhibit defect formation inside the crystals by means of an entropic effect, and an excess amount of A2 cations not included inside the perovskite crystals form a structure surrounding perovskite nanocrystal particles to passivate defects forming on the surface of the perovskite nanocrystal particles, thereby enhancing photoluminescence quantum efficiency, luminescence life and stability. Therefore, the present invention can be utilized for a wavelength conversion layer or a light-emitting layer of a light-emitting diode.
