FIELD: physics.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to non-linear dynamics. Technical result is to provide greater accuracy in determining the boundary of the generalized synchronization mode. The described result is achieved by means of a method of diagnosing the generalised synchronisation mode in unidirectionally connected master and slave chaotic systems. At least one more auxiliary system is connected to the slave system, the initial conditions whereof are set randomly on the attractor of the slave system is connected to the slave system, the equivalence of states between all pairs of connected systems is determined, the amount of systems wherefor the generalised synchronisation mode is diagnosed is calculated, normalisation to the number of pairs of connected systems is performed and the probability of diagnosing the generalised synchronisation mode is determined. The communication parameter changes until the minimum communication parameter is found whereon it can be certain that the generalised synchronisation mode is diagnosed, that is, wherefor the probability of diagnosing the mode is close to 100 percent.;EFFECT: technical result is ensured higher accuracy in determining the boundary of a generalised synchronisation mode.;1 cl, 3 dwg
