A smart toy system for coding education using a drone moving within a maneuvering boundary is disclosed. The smart toy system of the present invention can increase the interest of learners because it can control the drone by coding a command or a set of commands. In addition, the smart toy system of the present invention may process a command or command set input from various types of coding means such as a visual editor device, an RFID tag, an SD card, or a joystick. On the other hand, the drone-type toy device of the present invention is controlled to fly within a preset maneuvering boundary even if it flies according to a command coded by a learner, so that it can control itself not to be excessively far from the reference position.
