Disclosed are a fluorescent probe based on azobenzene-quantum dots, and a preparation method therefor and the use thereof in molecular switch type fluorescent sensors. The preparation method for the fluorescent probe comprises the following steps: (A) dissolving quantum dots in a CHCl3 solution, and then adding an ethylenediamine solution and mixing same until uniform to obtain a mixed solution II; (B) adding an azobenzene compound and 3-mercaptopropionic acid into a H2O/DMSO solution and mixing same until uniform to obtain a mixed solution III; and (C) mixing the mixed solutions II and III and reacting same to obtain a fluorescent probe. On the basis of a reduction reaction caused by the fluorescent probe with hyposulfite ions, an oxidation reaction caused by same with hypochlorous acid ions and an enzymatic reaction caused by same with an azo reductase, a molecular switch type fluorescent sensor is developed. The molecular switch type fluorescent sensor can sensitively and accurately detect hyposulfite ions, hypochlorous acid ions and azo reductase, and can be used to detect a variety of chemical and biological analytes.
