Method for determining the severity and prognosis of neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy

We will develop a method that can easily and highly predict the severity of neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy and the prognosis after hypothermia therapy. Neonatal hypothermia, depending on whether the mass per unit volume of soluble LOX-1 protein or fragment thereof in blood collected from subjects within 6 hours of birth is greater than or equal to the specified cutoff value. The severity of ischemic encephalopathy and the prediction of prognosis after hypothermia therapy can be easily determined.
