An apparatus for verifying suitability for implementing a cryptographic algorithm of the present invention comprises: an input unit receiving a source code in which the cryptographic algorithm is implemented; A communication interface unit that provides a communication interface with an embedded device operating in a real-time operating system environment; And a control unit for controlling the input unit and the communication interface unit based on a preset control program, wherein the control unit performs pre-verification for the corresponding encryption algorithm based on the input source code, and then determines that there is no error. It is possible to generate a firmware for and upload it to the embedded device through the communication interface unit. Accordingly, the present invention has the advantage of improving the efficiency of verifying the conformance of the cryptographic algorithm implementation by minimizing the processing in the real-time operating system environment, which has many restrictions on process and memory usage, when verifying the conformance of the cryptographic algorithm implementation in a real-time operating system environment.
