A track-breaker detection device shall be specified which can detect a track-breaker using a simple configuration. The track-breaker detection device shall have the following characteristics: a production unit for an electro-motor force, having the following: a first core part connected electrically to a first cable connecting an electric neutral point of a track-dropper, connecting a first rail and a second rail as a pair; with the first rail, a second core part mounted on a second cable connecting the electric neutral point of the track trolley to the second rail,a first winding which is wrapped around the first core to produce a first electromotor force depending on a change in current occurring in the first cable, and a second winding which is electrically connected to the first winding and wrapped around the second core to produce a second electromotor force; to produce, depending on a change in the current occurring in the second cable, an electromotor power as the sum of the first electromotor power and the second electromotor power produced by the generating unit for an electromotor power; and a unit of fractional determination for the determination,the first rail or second rail is fractured on the basis of the electromotor force generated by the generating unit for an electromotor force.
