PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clothing fabric having both excellent light shielding property and excellent color development.SOLUTION: A clothing fabric 1 has a satin weave texture. In the clothing fabric 1, one warp 3 is white and weft 2 is black. Floating of white weft 2 is concentrated on one surface of the clothing fabric 1 and floating of black weft 2 is concentrated on the other surface thereof. A surface exposure rate of the black waft on the one surface of the clothing fabric 1 is less than 2.1%. The degree of whiteness on the one surface of the clothing fabric 1 based on JIS L 1916 exceeds 73.0. A shading rate of the clothing fabric 1 based on JIS L 1055 exceeds 99.975%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
