An energy-saving production scheduling operation method and system are provided for optimizing the production scheduling of a continuous input lot-based heat treatment process in terms of cost, time, energy saving and delivery. Accordingly, the proposed algorithm and method may enable production scheduling capable of reducing cost and energy by deriving the scheduling of the heat treatment process by applying an industrial power time-based rate system (TOU).
