The objective of the present invention is to provide a flaking development analysis method and a flaking development analysis device for a raceway ring of a rolling bearing with which it is possible to predict a relationship between elapsed time and the shape of a flaked portion on the basis of the speed of development of flaking after fine flaking has occurred, and which enables bearing replacement to be performed with an appropriate timing. This flaking development analysis method includes: a step of using a flaking acquiring means (21) to acquire the presence or absence and the shape of a flaked portion (15) of a raceway ring (11); a step of calculating a rolling element load F acting on a rolling element (13) when the rolling element passes an exit portion (15a) of the flaked portion of the raceway ring, on the basis, at least, of the acquired shape of the flaked portion, the specifications of a rolling bearing (10), and the operating conditions of the rolling bearing; a step of calculating a speed of development V of the flaked portion taking into account the shape of the advancing flaked portion, on the basis of the rolling element load F at the exit portion of the flaked portion; and a step of calculating a relationship between elapsed time of the rolling bearing and the flaking shape, on the basis of the speed of development V of the flaked portion.
