Said method comprises: acquiring data of a specific dimension of shipment points, the data of the specific dimension containing vehicle operation data and position data (S101); calculating optimization data according to the data of the specific dimension and a pre-constructed vehicle scheduling model, the vehicle scheduling model taking a vehicle rental demand and a vehicle rental income as optimization objectives (S102); and generating a vehicle scheduling policy according to the optimization data, the vehicle scheduling policy containing the variation of the quantity of shipment of vehicles at the shipment points (S103). An optimized shipment policy is generated by combining the pre-constructed vehicle scheduling model with the operation data and position data of the vehicle shipment points, so as to assist in improving the utilization of the delivered vehicles, reducing idle vehicles, facilitating a user in renting a vehicle, and improving the benefits of an enterprise.
