Disclosed are a fractional Fourier transform echo imaging method and system based on probe compensation. Frequency response compensation of an ultrasonic probe is carried out first, and pulse compression and imaging are then carried out by means of an energy concentration characteristic of an LFM signal in a fractional Fourier domain. The frequency response compensation of the ultrasonic probe comprises two parts, i.e. ultrasonic probe frequency response measurement and echo signal probe frequency response compensation. In the ultrasonic probe frequency response measurement, a method based on a time domain, a frequency domain or a time-frequency domain can be used to solve the impulse response of the ultrasonic probe. Fractional Fourier transform of the optimal order is carried out on the compensated echo signal to transform same to an energy concentration domain, so as to realize pulse compression; envelope detection is carried out on a result after pulse compression; the abscissa u of a fractional Fourier transform domain is then converted into a time delay τ; the amplitude is converted into a grayscale value; and finally, imaging is carried out according to the time delay and the grayscale. The present application has the advantages of a high echo detection precision, a high imaging quality, a good anti-noise performance, etc.
