PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-repellent coating, which can secure abrasion resistance of hydrophobic fine particles and can exhibit high non-adhesion by the hydrophobic fine particles, at low cost.SOLUTION: There is provided a water-repellent coating which contains hydrophobic silica particles, a thermosetting epoxy resin and an organic solvent, where the content of the hydrophobic silica particles is 30-200 pts.mass with respect to 100 pts.mass of the thermosetting epoxy resin, and a curing agent of the thermosetting epoxy resin is a phenol resin or a urea resin.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
