A length A, Fig. 1, of wire is doubled and bent so that the ends or points a, a1 meet point to point. The bow part a3, a4, Fig. 1, maintains by its natural spring the points a, a1 in the closed position. By pressing inwards upon the bow part, the points separate and the material or object to be fixed can be inserted. The object becomes fixed upon removing the pressure. Two spring hooks joined by a chain, as shown in Fig. 9, form the complete device.
