A Method for Dividing and Reproducing Characters, Designs and the like, for use in Educational and other Games or purposes

Educational appliances; reading and writing, teaching.-Letters, drawings, and other designs &c. are divided into parts or sections so formed and arranged that they may be grouped together to form various complete letters or designs &c. Fig. 1 shows three elemental forms a, b, c, from which the letters shown in Fig. 3 may be built up. Fig. 4 shows two designs, a bicycle and a German loaf, built up from the forms or parts d, e, f, and g. The parts may be made in card or other material, and may be used for playing reading, writing, drawing, and other games, or for the purposes of instruction. The cards used may have on one side representations of the elemental forms or parts, and on the other side representations of the complete letters &c. Sheets or books may be provided, with drawings or representations of the elemental parts, and of the designs &c. to be reproduced by their aid. Magnetic plates or boards may be used to support the parts, and the latter be made of magnetic material.
