26,849. Gameson, C. H. Dec. 23. Leaks, stopping.-Relates to means for facilitating the repair of the inner tubes of pneumatic tyres and the like. The tyre and patch are clamped between tubes shaped according to the part of the tyre repaired. Fig. 1 shows the inner tube I, with a patch, clamped between a base formed of elliptical tubing and a leather washer and he'd under a curved plate D. The clamp C may be of C-shape, and the tube T may be replaced by a plate. Fig. 2 sbows the plate and tube convex longitudinally, but they may be concave for treatment of the rim portion of the inner tube.
