An Improved Printing and Ruling Machine.

8119. Panter, W. April 8. Ruling-machines.-Relates to the machines for printing and ruling paper described in Specification No. 17,088, A.D. 1905. The sheet after having been printed and ruled horizontally on both sides by the machine described in the above Specification is delivered by rollers D on to a table E, on which it is registered by movable back and front stops and by movable and stationary side stops H, I. The sheet is fed from this table E in a direction at right-angles to its previous movement by a gripper cylinder &c., or, as shown, by a drop roller L and roller M, into the bite of two series of tapes N. The tapes N convey the sheet around drums P, Q where it is ruled vertically on both sides by ruling- attachments U, V, which may be of the kind described in Specification No. 6843, A D. 1906, and may be arranged for intermittent ruling.
