Sheets.-In order to facilitate the filing of articles and advertisements appearing in technical journals, periodicals, magazines, &c., the journals &c. are made up of single sheets secured together by wire sewing passing through from side to side near the back and punched with two holes for filing purposes. The journal may first be made up in the usual way, next punched with the holes, and then sheared on all four sides to reduce the whole to single sheets. The sheets may be separated by undoing the stitching, or by tearing them along a line of perforations provided for the purpose.
