Word - building and like apparatus. - For teaching spelling &c., a series of sliding strips e, Figs. 1 and 2, are contained in a casing formed of a front a, a back c, and a framing d, and are adjustable to display letters &c. at apertures f by means of pegs h projecting through slots g in the front a, correspondingly marked with alphabets &c. The strips e are shown as endless bands passing over pulleys e2, and are provided with two alphabets, one in printed form and the other in scrip form, respectively for exposure through the front apertures f and apertures m in the back.
