Induction motor meters. - An E- shaped electromagnet with pressure coils on the centre limb and current coils on the outer limbs, has a shunt c of paramagnetic material joining the outer limbs a, b and provided with two short-circuited windings d, e which may be adjusted in position so as to regulate the phase displacement, to compensate for want of symmetry in the current coils, and to compensate for friction. In a modification the shunt is of E-shape, the limbs being parallel with the limbs of the magnet.
