Ornamenting. - Consists in a plastic composition for imitating rustic work, consisting of sawdust, waste paper, and flour moistened with water containing sulphate of copper. Colouring matter such as yellow, red, and black earth may be added, and also liquid glue to render the composition adhesive. The waste paper may be omitted. The composition is applied to a base such as a cardboard tube and is worked by a suitable hand instrument to produce a rustic effect. Pieces of wood such as circular slices d of a branch may be added to give the effect of cut-off branches.
