[Class 31 (ii) ] [Also in Groups XXIII and VI] A device for cutting away plaster &c. bandages or for cutting celluloid, synthetic resin &c. comprises a pair of crossed lever arms 1, 2 pivoted together at 3, one lever provided with a foot 10 to engage under the bandage and the other with a spindle 5 carrying a circular saw or knife 6 operated by a lever 8 or by a motor connected to the spindle of the saw by a flexible shaft. In a modification, Fig. 4, the circular saw 6a and its operating lever 8a are carried by a two-armed lever 16 actuated by a bell-crank lever 14 pivoted at 15.
